Java has recently been exploited and using it could make you vulnerable to computer attacks. Here’s how to temporarily disable Java.
Internet Explorer 9
Go to Tools –> Manage Addons
Under the Oracle America Inc section, click the Java applets shown and at the bottom right, click Disable. It should like something like this:
Chrome
Open Chrome and type chrome://plugins in the address bar
Scroll down to the Java section and click Disable. It should look something like this:
You can always permanently remove Java from your computer by going to (Win7) Programs and Features and removing the all Java entries.
