Amazon for Students

Amazon has just released an application for the iPhone as part of their Amazon Student program. The application will allow you to search for textbooks and other products, compare, and buy right from your iPhone. You can also trade in your old textbooks for Amazon gift cards.

If you are currently enrolled in a college or university you should consider Amazon Student.
Amazon Student is a free membership program created especially for College students. Registering entitles you to six months of free two-day shipping and exclusive student discounts on products. To qualify you must be currently enrolled in a college or university who has a valid .edu email address (and they will confirm this). Trade in your old Textbooks

As a student you buy books often – what do you do with all your old ones? One great feature of the Amazon Student program is the ability to buy your books from Amazon and then trade them back when you’re done. Amazon will trade in your old textbooks for Amazon gift cards. Start by searching the Amazon Textbook Trade in web page to see if the book you have is eligible for a trade in. If it is, then here’s how to complete the trade in process. In fact this trade in feature is also available for video games, movies, and electronics. Time to go through that pile and get some rewards!
