Apple Computer HackedDid you know? Only Australia, Canada, UK, and US have full access to the iTunes Store.

If you live in Austria, Cayman Islands, China, Greece and others that means apps and books only, no Music, Music Videos, or TV shows. In fact, iTunes Apps and Books are the two items that are available worldwide. All other countries are missing some features from the iTunes Store.

How To (NOT) Check Email Over The Holidays

Will you check emails during this Christmas/New Year period?

Why?

This is supposed to be family time and the time extended families tend to get together. Make the most of it without being distracted by beeps and alerts of work emails. You know how it goes; you check emails, you look, now your distracted, you check up on it and it balloons until your in the back room hammering out some reply with multiple recipients – you don’t want that at this time of year. Focus instead on your family, extended family, friends and associates. Relax or play hard, but get away from work for a while!

Thanksgiving Day

Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving Day everyone!

There is a saying that feeling appreciation and not expressing it is like wrapping a gift and not giving it. As we sit down to our meal today, surrounded by family and friends let’s give thanks for what we have received.

Perhaps it is time that we got back to basics and began to appreciate all that we have. Most of us have roofs over our heads and food on our tables. We have family and that, surely, is a great blessing when others are lonely. Should not we be giving thanks for friendship and what it means in our lives? Each one of us has been given talents and skills and as well as being grateful for them perhaps, at this time of thanksgiving, we should decide to use them.

Our health is, they say, our wealth and anyone who has been ill knows that is true. We all often have aches and pains, but consider others who deal with pain every day, and be thankful.

Thanksgiving Day is for appreciating our own good fortune and sharing it with others.
